The Washington State portion of the nationwide 2005 MS150 bike event attracted over 800 riders and raised over $400,000 to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. All riders paid an entry fee in addition to the minimum donation and pledges. All pledges collected go directly to support the work of the National MS Society.

Deception Pass Bridge. Because of the heavy car traffic, the MS150 riders received a motorcycle escort across the bridge in both directions. The bridge is actually two spans, separated by a pillar of rock that divides the passage into two channels.

The elevation profiles for the 75-mile routes, day one and day two. Kristi, Brady, and Staci rode both full routes for the 150-mile challenge. Judy, Larye, and Liz rode as a tag team, completing the 150 miles by riding the 50 mile loops: Liz was on the volunteer staff the second day. The 50-mile portion consisted of the left and right thirds of the 75-mile routes.
